Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K Rowling is a book to remember. With the main character, the famous Harry Potter and his faithful friends, know-it-all Hermione Granger and 7th place Ronald Weasley, [in his family] they go on a heart-stopping adventure to save, the Sorcerer's Stone, a ruby red, life-giver/wealth-giver stone. Harry starts with his parents, who had been murdered by the darkest wizard of all time, Lord Voldemort. Harry goes to his aunt Petunia and his uncle Vernon, delivered by, Minerva McGonagall, head of one of the 4 houses of school, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where Harry will soon know his true nature, the four houses are, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin, where McGonagall is head of Gryffindor, Albus Dumbledore, headmaster, and Rubeus Hagrid, gamekeeper and half giant at Hogwarts. When Harry arrives at the platform to leave for Hogwarts he can't get through, that's when he meets the Weasleys. At school, Ron and Harry save know-it-all Hermione Granger, this starts a lifelong friendship.
